Job Summary
Mixer Drivers report to their home terminal daily to deliver scheduled loads in the area as ordered by finishers, homeowners, developers or roadway construction projects.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Drive and operate mixer truck in safe manner
- Perform pre\post trip inspections on vehicle daily
- Ensure each load of concrete is properly mixed
- Keep mixer truck clean and in safe working order
- Accurately and completely fill out delivery tickets
- Assist customers with information on products and services to the best of your ability
- Maintain a positive and friendly attitude towards customers and co-workers
Qualifications and Skills
- Must have a valid CDL drivers license and clean driving record
- Must be registered with FMCSA Clearinghouse
- Must have a current DOT physical card
- Must be able to work in a safe manner to complete tasks
Training
All new hires will participate in a 2 week in house, paid mixer driver training program. New drivers will shadow a senior driver to learn the job duties then will be shadowed by the senior driver as they perform those tasks. New drivers will also participate in a full day welcome orientation to the company on their first day.
