Position Summary: The primary responsibility for this position is to proactively support the sales and profit for key national customers with the objective of maximizing sales, distribution, and commercialization of products for all core categories in Center of Store, Foodservice, and ISB. Executes commercialization of Branded and custom products to penetrate customers across all areas of the store leveraging internal cross functional teams (Culinary, Marketing, Purchasing, Operations, Finance and R&D) to enhance our overall business relationship. Execute business growth plans as set by the Sales Leadership Team.

Essential Functions:

  • Lead & participate in product development and commercialization process at J&J corporate as well as with internal cross functional teams for key customers.
  • Achieve / exceed all key new product development measures as they align with commercialization and launch for the key national customers.
  • Develop and manage customer relationship with ICS buying team to contribute to customer strategy ensuring J&J Snack Foods business objectives are achieved.
  • Manage Customer order execution by working with internal Customer Service and Transportation Team as well as Customer ICS buying team to ensure Customer Service levels and met / exceeded.
  • Partner with Demand Planning to ensure Customer Service levels are met / exceeded.
  • Manage FSQA inquiries.
  • Adapts knowledge of customer strategies to J&J Snack Foods strategies to optimize sales potential.
  • Overall Continuous improvement - identifying opportunities for efficiency and profitability and overall improvement in the management of the commercialization process.

Required Skills:

  • Proficient in Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook & MS Office
  • Able to build meaningful strong relationships internally with cross functional teams and externally with Buyer support teams.
  • Flexible and able to regularly transition between high-level, strategic work and detailed, tactical work.
  • Able to build out and provide inputs for business using graphs, charts, and the like.
  • Direct/mobilize internal resources (Culinary, Marketing, Purchasing, Operations, Finance and R&D) to assist, where needed, in the execution of sales plans.
  • Exceptional interpersonal, communication & relationship building abilities both internal and external.
  • Strong history of proven success in customer support role and customized solutions.

Preferred Skills:

  • CPG Experience
  • Strong ability to dissect and leverage internal / external data to contribute to exceeding customer’s expectations.
  • Sales Force experience

Education and Experience:

  • 4-year college degree preferred or equivalent experience.
  • 5 Years of J&J Snack Foods experience preferred.

Travel Requirements:

  • Ability to (air) travel required 30-40%

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $70,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
