J&K Home Furnishings is growing and just entered the Charleston Market! We just opened our newest retail/design store at Mt Pleasant in Belle Hall Shopping Center this past Summer with a 36,000 square foot showroom in a free-standing building. J&K is a luxury furniture store that has been in business of over 23 years with 6 stores across the Grand Strand. J&K specializes in custom ordered Made in America furniture featuring the best brands like Bassett, Smith Brothers, Tommy Bahama and Lexington Home Brands to name just a few.

Our Sales Team is the face and heart of our company. Our Sales Consultants will work directly with the customer to understand their needs and sell our products to fit that need. They also have a full staff of Interior Designers at each store to further help the customer. If you are a positive and motivated professional with a passion for design, possess exceptional selling skills and a love for building customer relationships, then we want to hear from you!

Job Requirements:

Successful candidates for this position must have a passion for design, discern and coordinate colors/textures and display superior communication skills.

Additional requirements for this position include:

• 5 years of Sales Experience (furniture sales a plus)

• Professional attire

• Proficient computer skills and the ability to learn new programs
• Established Marketing/Sales ability
• Positive and engaging personality

• Flexibility to work a retail schedule that includes weekends and some holidays

Job Responsibilities

Our Sales Consultants will be on the sales floor providing guidance and solutions for our clients’ needs.

• Use active listening and problem-solving skills to help customers by providing solutions for their decorating projects

• Follow Design and Marketing from Managers of Showroom Floors
• Ability to work with your team to create an engaging customer experience
• Responsible for consistently meeting established sales goals as a store

• Knowledge of our furniture products to sell to clients

• Quickly build and maintain relationships with our customers
