POSITION SUMMARY
Schugel Management is seeking an experienced Human Resources Generalist who will be responsible for assisting the Human Resources Manager in developing and administering policies and procedures.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
· Post jobs on job boards as instructed by Department Managers/Director of Human Resources
· Seek out, interview and screen applicants to fill existing and future openings at J&R Schugel Trucking, Inc.
· Contact applicants to inform them of employment possibilities, considerations and selection
· Complete introductory interviews with job applicants
· Attend job fairs
· Complete new hire orientation
· EEO-1 reporting
· Assist benefits department in Wellness Program
· Driver reviews, employee notices and notifying driver of their review
· Switch paperwork (L/P to Company or Company to L/P)
· Employment letters requested by drivers
· Back up for VOE’s and retention calls
· Separation notices for MI and GA employees
· Exit interviews
· Performs other duties as assigned or directed by HR Manager
