Office Administrator

J.S.K. Construction Corp. founded in 2011 is a growing General Contracting firm in New York Downstate area. Our company’s vision is to be customer centric and always searching for innovative ideas to improve the experience of our customers.

We are looking for an Office Administrator who share our vision, values and most importantly has a positive outlook. Following is the list of requirements that we are seeking in a potential candidate:

· General Requirements:

o Must possess oral and written presentation skills.

o Be able to draft professional letters, emails, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and other correspondences.

o Must possess strong organizational skills.

o Must be proficient in MS Office – Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint, Quickbooks (strongly preferred), and sound with computers.

o Ability to take ownership of the tasks and execute them without much supervision.

o Ability to multitask and handle fast paced environment.

o Must possess a learning attitude and transparency.

· Functional Requirements:

o Assist in bidding process and ability to prepare the bid packages.

o Ability to draft letters and correspondence as needed.

o Be able to keep the company files organized, maintain all record-keeping systems, files and filing system.

o Ability to generate payrolls on company’s system and prepare certified payrolls as per project specific requirements.

o Ability to update and maintain bookkeeping records in Quickbooks.

o Ability to work and support the accountant in terms of tax preparation and responding to audits.

o Ability to create invoices and payment applications per project requirements.

o Update and maintain company’s in house Project Management Information System (PMIS) and project folders.

o Working knowledge of construction process from inception to completion.

· Educational and Experience Requirements:

o Minimum High School or GED.

o Minimum of two (2) years’ experience as an office administrator preferably in construction industry.

Typical Working hours:

  • Monday to Friday - 8:30 AM - 5:30 PM EST

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week

Schedule:

  • 8 hour shift
  • Monday to Friday

Experience:

  • Construction: 2 years (Preferred)
