What are the responsibilities and job description for the Spa Sales Coordinator position at J W Marriott?
Role: Answers high volume of spa calls in a professional manner must be polished, professional, and havea strong command of both written and verbal English. Act as primary contact for group event coordination including service offerings, Spa’rty groups, groups blocks, client contact/relation, internal BEO creation and recap/evaluation reporting.
Oversee all facility booking Spa Group Special Events reviewing daily for effective use of spaces to maximize revenue potential.
Skill/Qualifications:
Effective influence skills Strong communication skills.
Knowledge of inventory controls, supplies and equipment.
Effective decision making.
Strong conflict resolution Understanding competitive market.
Previous experience in Spa Group sales coordination within luxury spa/hotel environment preferred.
Ability to create and manage a tactical marketing plan.
Ability to develop
Assist Spa Director and Spa Operations team with evaluating effectiveness of pricing strategies.
Required Certification/ License
High School graduate or GED or equivalent
Previous experience in spa or hotel sales or marketing is desirable.
2 years or more sales experience
Spa soft experience
Adaco, Microsoft, Excel and PowerPoint

Attend pre-cons and market the VIP Spa Lounge, spa amenities and spa treatment menu.Drive, develop and grow Spa’rty revenue. Ability to create and manage a tactical marketing plan. Ability to develop a yield management strategy for maximum financial benefit
Assist Spa Director and Spa Operations team with evaluating effectiveness of pricing strategies. Responsible for attending and representing the Spa at all meetings, site walks, phone calls, pre-cons and any event that can raise awareness and drive business
