Description
The purpose of a Rental Operations Coordinator is to streamline the rental process to be more efficient and affective for all involved departments. This position will inspire customer engagement (both employee and customer) to increase performance, improve utilization, and reduce response time, all while growing revenue and market share.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
· Primary responsibilities involve rental asset management from rent to roll · Primary rental contact at the branch
· Managing the customer experience from customer receivable to return
· Work with transportation to coordinate deliveries and pick ups
· Invoicing rental transactions
· Supervise rental technicians
· Manage the team to meet/exceed operational metrics
· Customer rental damage resolution
· Work order management
· Requires Application and Operation knowledge of work tool products and attachments offered by Riggs as well as machines
· Ability to operate and recommend performance improvements for rental processes and procedures
· Ensure proper product placement on yard and demo space
· Assist customers with pickup of machines and attachments
· Provide basic safety knowledge of machine and attachments to customers ensuring they understand proper usage and application
· Ensure all rental items are line ready – fully operational, clean, and ready to rent
· Owner of rental operations process from start to finish
Requirements
WHAT YOU'LL NEED
- High School diploma (minimum) or Comparable industry / product experience.
- 1-5 years experience with Dealer Business Systems (DBS) functionality preferred.
- iRent experience – preferable · Specialized Knowledge of work tool products and applications.
- Effective Verbal and Written communication skills.
- Intermediate level knowledge of Microsoft Office products
- Overnight Travel – Low 1-3 days per month.
- Permanent position – full-time
