What are the responsibilities and job description for the Vacuum Truck Technician position at Jack’s Septic?
Jack’s Septic is a family owned and operated business that is growing fast and is looking for a full time vacuum truck technician to operate a 4000 gallon septic pump truck in accordance with our policies and procedures. This position must be able to safely work independently in a fast-paced environment, be a self starter and motivated. Additionally, this position requires good agility for working in adverse conditions.
Qualifications:
- Class A or B CDL
- Clean driving record
- Drug Free
- Honest and dependable
- Project a positive, professional company image
- Excellent customer service skills
- Self-motivated, good work ethic and ability to follow specific verbal/written instructions
- Good reading and mathematical skills
- Experience a plus, but will train the right person
Job Responsibilities:
- Provide vacuum service for septic systems and grease traps according to policies and procedures.
- Drag and connect 4” hose(s) from truck to tank for removal of waste (up to 200’ in length).
- Document all work performed according to policy.
- Lift, move and carry up to 75lbs
- Use small hand-tools, shovels, spud bars, etc.
All employees shall be subject to drug testing and background checks.
