We are now accepting applications for an HR Training Specialist Intern for the Jacksons Companies Experience Internship Program.Our Experience Internships offer students the opportunity to tackle projects and to make a real impact on the departmental and corporate objectives as they prepare to start their career journey. Our paid internships usually start in June and run through mid-August and can be part-time or full-time.Our internship program is great for ambitious students who are currently enrolled at an accredited, four-year college/university or who are recent grads. Our goal is to create a thoughtful program to challenge our interns and help them grow and develop as professionals. This position is located at Jacksons Store Support Center in Meridian, ID. Remote work is not available for this position. What is the internship project for the HR Training Specialist Internship? Jacksons HR Training team is looking to design a new Store Leader in Training (LIT)program using different learning methods, tools, and strategies to flex to the needs of the company. You will help build productive partnerships with stakeholders, gathering feedback to incorporate and provide regular updates on project status and content. You will develop the LIT program curriculum including storyboards, facilitator/participant guides, and other content as needed. You will help devise an implementation plan/proposal with input from stakeholders and present findings at the conclusion of the internship. You will be a great fit for this internship if you have: · Competed your Bachelors and working on your Graduate degree in Instructional Design/Org effectiveness by the start of the internship.· Enrolled at an accredited college/university and seeking a degree related to this internship.· Experience in basic training program project management skills· A basic understanding of and application of instructional design.· A creative eye for detail.· General computers skills to use and navigate various software required.· Excellent verbal and written communication skills, and you are comfortable sharing information with various levels of the organization.· Experience with MS Office 365, Vyond, Storyline 365 and the ability to interview/gather appropriate and accurate information from stakeholders.· A positive “can do” attitude to meet the needs of the organization**Jacksons currently does not offer sponsorship of employment for this position.
