Job Description:
In support of NGIC, analyst shall be required to research country specific Counterspace (CS) Electronic Warfare (EW) C4 doctrine, equipment capabilities, and assessed networking tactics, techniques, and procedures (TTP); build and maintain C4 datasets; and produce other related intelligence products as determined by the government project manager. The C4 Network Model Creation and Maintenance will include scientific and technical intelligence analysis of command, control, communications, and computer (C4) networks in NGIC's JACOB or similar application. This customized application will be used for C4 network analysis to analyze the C4 of adversary counterspace threats as required by the ODNI, National Intelligence Manager for S&T Intelligence.
Duties/Tasks and Responsibilities:
· Research country specific CS Electronic Warfare (EW) C4 doctrine, equipment capabilities, and assessed networking tactics, techniques and procedures (TTP)
· Build and maintain C4 datasets; and produce other related intelligence products as determined by the government project manager.
· The C4 Network Model Creation and Maintenance will include scientific and technical intelligence analysis of command, control, communications, and computer (C4) networks in NGIC's JACOB or similar application.
· Gather and analyze all-source intelligence data required to build and maintain C4 network datasets (to include command and control (C2), and sensor-to-shooter), Construct communications network diagrams and provide intelligence collection recommendations to remedy intelligence gaps. Assist Government analysts in preparing briefs, presentations, and assessment.
· Build C4 and S2S models for ingestion into Integrated Threat Analysis Simulation Environment (ITASE) or other models.
· Make recommendations for modifications to current C4, S2S, and ITASE paradigms.
· Respond to electronic C2 RFIs and Production Requests (PRs).
· Perform analysis of foreign military CS-related, C2 decision making processes; command automation operations; data fusion techniques
· Make assessments pertaining to the equipment used, capabilities, limitations, vulnerabilities, and timelines.
· Review CS and C3 JCOFA datasets to ensure equipment representation is complete and accurate.
· Run database reports periodically to facilitate coordination with other IPCs and with JACOB customers.
· Submit these working reports, generated from JACOB electronically as requested.
· Analyze CS, S2S, and C4 equipment and processes in order to produce assessments, visual graphics, and models relating to opposing force (OPFOR) C4 or CS data-fusion methods, decision making processes, communication paths, alternative means of communications, and the use of redundant equipment or processes.
· Collaborate regularly with other members of the NGIC, IC, and DoD
· Travel to other IPCs, coordination meetings, working groups, and conferences to present their results.
· Provide input to all-source assessments and database updates, answer imagery RFIs, provide graphics of new equipment for inclusion in KEYS (NGA equipment identification site) and contribute to a wide variety NGIC assessments.
· Imagery analysis input will be in graphic, written and oral format following NGIC and industry accepted standards.
· Use commercially available geospatial intelligence applications, as well as: Remote view, National Exploitation System research database, and Imagery Workstations.
