As a vital member of our Irvine team, you’ll have the opportunity to work as a lead engineer variety of exciting large rail projects across the country. In this position you will be responsible for leading the design, calculations and engineering services on both design-build and design-bid-build projects. We are looking for someone who is looking to work towards the goal of becoming a Project Manager.
Working alongside a team of technicians and engineers, you’ll be responsible for multidiscipline coordination and providing oversight on the production of drawings and 3d models using software tools and resources supporting our clients’ overall project goals.

Here’s What You’ll Need:• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering
• Professional Engineer (PE) License or ability to acquire
• Extensive design experience in Track and Civil Engineering
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience
• Proficient in both MicroStation and InRail
• Knowledge of AREMA and local railroad criteria
• Strong analytical, conceptual, communication and organizational skills
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to assemble plan sets meeting client expectations
• Excellent written and verbal communication
Ideally, You’ll Also Have:
• Project management experience
• Strong client interaction skills
• Professional expertise with OpenRail and AutoCAD Civil 3D
• 3D modeling knowledge
• Experience on both Freight and Commuter Rail projects
