Our team is growing, and we are looking for an aggressive and motivated Attorney to work in our workers' compensation department at our Peoria office.
Applicant must be an independent worker who can handle a high volume of cases in a fast-paced environment. Applicant must also have strong written and verbal communication skills. A writing sample is required with submission of your resume. Salary and benefits commensurate with experience.

Responsibilities:
- Conduct legal research and analysis on various legal issues
- Draft legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and contracts
- Assist with case management and preparation for litigation
- Participate in client meetings and provide legal advice and guidance
- Negotiate settlements and agreements on behalf of clients
- Represent clients in court proceedings, including hearings and trials
Qualifications:
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school
- Admitted to practice law in the relevant jurisdiction
- Strong writing and research skills
- Knowledge of legal administrative procedures and practices
- Proficiency in using legal research tools such as Lexis-Nexis and Westlaw
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Experience with legal drafting and litigation is preferred
