Duties:
- Provide direct patient care, including administering medications, performing dialysis, and managing acute pain.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Utilize Matrix electronic medical records to document patient information and track treatment progress.
- Offer home and community care services, with a focus on patient education and support.
- Develop and implement strategies for pain management, including both acute and chronic pain.
- Provide care to patients with infectious diseases, including those related to ophthalmology.
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of nursing staff, ensuring that all patients receive timely and effective care.
- Monitor patient outcomes and make adjustments to care plans as needed.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes to improve patient care.
Experience:
Applicants should have at a year of experience, with a focus on hospital medicine and acute care. Experience in home and community care, as well as infectious disease care and pain management, is highly desirable. The ideal candidate will also have experience with Matrix electronic medical records. A strong understanding of ophthalmology and a commitment to providing excellent patient care are essential for this role.
