JOB DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Prepare recipes for menu by looking over the Daily Prep List at the start of each shift
- Ensure the freshness and quality of prepared food
- Fill cold line with prepared vegetables and refill as needed
- Follow Jan's safety rules and regulations.
- Keep all work areas clean and observe Health Department Regulations
- Follow Customer Service Guidelines
QUALIFICATIONS:
-At least 1 year experience in the preparation and serving of hot and/or cold food in a commercial food service setting
-Knowledge of Cooking techniques used for cold and hot food preparation
- Health codes applicable to food service
-Proper food storage, rotation and cleaning techniques;
-Must have verbal proficiency of the English Language
-Work in an accurate manner in a fast-paced environment
-Communicate with supervisors and co-workers in a constructive manner
-Maintain a clean and safe environment for coworkers and customers
-Comply with company standards and directives.
