Responsibilities
Plans Lead (External)Serve as the lead organizer of the plans section and implement processes to integrate HHQ & adjacent guidance into the force development process.
- Integrate Force Development guidance into Joint and Department level activities to ensure Service force development activities address HHQ objectives.
- Provide oversight of the implementation of the CD&I Campaign Plan and Service Capstone Concept across the Service and with external Service stakeholders.
- Provide detailed planning documents per guidance from CD&I G5/7, ADC CD&I, and DC, CD&I.
- Able to interact and effectively communicate with senior Marine Corps uniformed officers and senior executives to coordinate the execution of complex tasks.
- Assistance in providing support to CD&I as required in support of its overall mission.
- Possess and maintain eligibility for Top Secret/Sensitive Compartmented Information (security clearance) Travel overnight up to approximately 10% of the time.
- Travel throughout the National Capital Region to attend off-sight meetings.
- Exercise proficiency with Microsoft productivity software and web-based information/knowledge management tools, e.g., Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Teams, and Outlook to fulfill tasking.
