Seeking ASL proficient manager to oversee Deaf Group Home Programs.
There are 3 Group Homes located in Oakland County (Farmington Hills Area).
About this position:
The successful ASL Program Manager will oversee the programmatic, fiscal and personnel functions for a defined portfolio of programs on a day-to-day basis. An ideal candidate is friendly, able to adapt quickly in a fast-paced environment, and dependable.
Minimum Qualifications:
· High School Diploma or GED
· Must be at least 21 years of age and have a valid, unrestricted driver's license
· Associates Degree in ASL or deaf studies, preferred
· Two years supervisory experience, preferred
· Long term care or human service agency experience, preferred but not required
Required Skills:
· Experience with electronic medical and reporting software, preferred but not required
· Excellent people management skills, including conflict mediation
· Able to develop solutions to challenging circumstances
· Professional demeanor, excellent work ethic, and good communication skills
Responsibilities:
· Supervise and monitor staff performance and goal attainment.
· Ensure staffing at Home is adequate at all times
· Provide input, monitoring, support, and supervision for all program services, including Individual Plans of Service, record documentation, communication, cleanliness and scheduling.
· Train staff as needed.
· Adhere to agency and client protection policies by regularly acclimating yourself with all JARC policies.
· Cover shifts as needed

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $17.00 - $18.00 per hour
