What you will be doing:

This position is for a Parking Analyst (Level 4), with JASINT and is located at the Pentagon, Washington Headquarters Services, Parking Management Office in Arlington, VA. The Parking Analyst will represent JASINT on the WHS Parking Project and assist the Project Manager in planning, tracking and execution of all deliverables. To be successful in this position you must be able to communicate both orally and in writing, interface with stakeholders and maintain a relationship with the supported customer.

• Responsible for assisting with the development of contract deliverables and overall daily management
• Lead and direct technical and administrative project team.
• Prepare and update project plans, status reports and quality metrics required to ISD.
• Provide updates on customer and corporate issues, participating in scheduled operational meetings as in routine with team leads and analyst, Federal employees and other stakeholders.
• Facilitate sessions to effectively resolve issues if any.
• Report status, project-related documentation, and implement lessons learned.
• Participate in project performance review meetings and discussions.
• Participate in corporate business development activities.
• Plan, coordinates and establish operating methods and procedures for accomplishment of project mission; as needed, direct the development and accomplishment of employee training relating to the project
• Conduct briefings and prepare comprehensive reports to keep managers & executives advised of project plans and progress & to communicate findings and recommendations
• Responsible for Risk Assessment and its management
• Must be able to learn the Parking system and assist when needed to meet daily requirements.
• Assist in developing solutions to parking issues
• Other duties assigned depending upon customer needs and deliverables

Position Requirements

Minimum Requirements:

Experience

• 4 years relevant work experience of project management

Education:

• Minimum High School diploma 4 years relevant work experience of project management
• Bachelor's Degree Preferred

Knowledge/Skills:

• Experience developing clear, concise communication in written and oral form
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple competing priorities
• Ability to build and lead a team focused on strategic goals
• Experience guiding and tracking actions of a small team
• Experience maintaining a strong virtual and in-person presence/professional tone of voice to fit the role of a facilitator and provide oral reports to senior leadership
• Must be organized, process-oriented, with proven success in working independently,
• Comfortable with strategic and critical thinking while guiding the team to achieve their objectives
• Ability to support stakeholder engagement and effectively interface between multiple stakeholder groups to ensure all parties have common understanding of the requirements
• Prior experience working in DoD environment preferred

Preferred Skills

• Certified Associate of Project Management (CAPM)
• Project Management Professional (PMP)
• CAPP (Certified Administrator of Public Parking)

Work Environment:

• The employee will normally work in a temperature-controlled office environment, with frequent exposure to electronic office equipment.
• During visits to areas of operations, may be exposed to extreme cold or hot weather conditions.
