Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and creative Chef to join our team. The Chef will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the kitchen, including food preparation, cooking, menu planning, and kitchen management.
Duties
- Prepare and cook delicious and visually appealing dishes
- Plan menus according to customer preferences and seasonal availability
- Manage kitchen staff and coordinate food service activities
- Ensure compliance with food safety and sanitation regulations
- Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed
- Develop new recipes and innovative cooking techniques
- Oversee shift schedules and manage kitchen operations efficiently
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Chef or in a similar role
- Knowledge of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment, and procedures
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Ability to multitask and work well under pressure
- Degree in Culinary Arts or relevant field is a plus
- Certification in food safety is preferred
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $18.29 - $19.57 per hour
Expected hours: 20 – 40 per week
