IT Support Technician

Reports to: Information Technology Director
Supervises: n/a
Qualifications: High School Diploma and Technical school training or equivalent combination of training or 1-3 years experience in the technology field.
Job Goal: To support the Districts in all technology services and requests for the District.
Employment Terms: 260 days x 8 hours (2080 hours)
FLSA Classification: Non exempt
Evaluation: Annually by superintendent

Regular Requirements: Sit for extended periods; twist at the neck and trunk; bend and reach at, below and above shoulder level, repetitive use of fingers and hands to grasp and/or operate equipment; lift/move up to 15 pounds
Occasional Requirements: Walk, reach with hands and arms overhead, above shoulder and horizontally; lift/move up to 50 pounds
Visual Requirements: Close, color, peripheral, depth perception, ability to adjust focus
Hearing/Speaking Requirements: Adequate to exchange information
Essential Duties And Responsibilities
- Assist the District with all hardware and software associated with it.
- Assist with hardware and software upgrades, repairs and installations as needed to ensure the smooth functioning of the district’s technology.
- Assist staff members with school technology troubleshooting.
- Utilize professional behavior in all school related interactions.
- Comply with all federal, state and local laws and board policies and procedures.
- Perform all other tasks as the supervisor may assign.
