A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A PROJECT COORDINATOR
As a Project Coordinator, you oversee our projects from inception to post-installation to ensure superior craftsmanship and total customer satisfaction. You coordinate with multiple departments and account managers to manage departmental workflow and create efficient systems that optimize our work. This is a communicative role in which you serve as the point of contact for our clients, general contractors, architects, sales team, and other internal departments. For every project, you conduct pre-production meetings as well as assist with estimating, acquiring design drawings, processing sales orders, managing contracts, and coordinating subcontract installations and deliveries.
You prepare detailed files in our computer system and update information as the projects move forward. As our work progresses, you ensure projects appropriately move between departments according to our company's process flow. You keep in close contact with the field crew to gain project updates, and you pass this information on during corporate conference calls. If any post-installation issues arise, you ensure they are addressed promptly. You take great pride in successfully coordinating our projects and helping our teams work smoothly!
