Job Description:
Contribute to program development that further integrates social, coping, and problem-solving in the classroom
Knowledgeable and able to apply the Michigan Administrative Rules for Special Education (MARSE) in determining eligibility for Multi-Disciplinary Teams (MET).
Knowledgeable and able to apply the rules in finding students eligible under Section 504
Participates in the decision-making process to determine appropriate services for all students
Provides crisis intervention as needed
Conducts or participates in data collection and evaluation to determine the usefulness and effectiveness of psychological services and various educational programs in the system
Provide consultative services related to school and problem-solving in the areas of instruction and social/emotional learning and behavior
Assist with the coordination of community referrals, language, culture, etc
