The Role:
JCDecaux is currently seeking a Business Development Specialist who will be part of the business development team which oversees the contractual relationships of the city street furniture concessions. The focus of this division addresses the infrastructure services provided to cityscapes and communities – including bus shelters, city information panels and automatic public toilets – all funded through our division which sells commercial advertising.
This is a full-time position based in our NY office and will operate in a hybrid work model.

Base Salary Range: $60,000-$65,000

The Role:
JCDecaux is currently seeking a Business Development Specialist who will be part of the business development team which oversees the contractual relationships of the city street furniture concessions. Key Responsibilities:
- Work within Business Development team as a cohesive team member providing best service to internal and external stakeholders (including electeds, non-governmental organizations (“NGOs”) and local community members)
- Reach out and research regarding community groups for potential partnerships.
- Administrative support for the department including but not limited to invoice processing and tracking, meeting/call scheduling, filing/organizing and monthly staff meeting attendance.
- Internal and external monthly reporting
- Public Messaging:
- Work directly with NGOs to secure contracts, directives/instructions for public messaging campaigns and manage all details of placement process.
- Work with all applicable JCDecaux departments facilitating the placement of the public messaging process through the system, making decisions when and where appropriate on timely issues relating to placement on street furniture products.
- Learn the JCDecaux proprietary technology systems for booking and scheduling campaigns and distributing key information to internal stakeholders.
- Global Messaging:
- Working with city clients to coordinate and place messaging across JCDecaux global advertising platforms.
- Working with JCDecaux subsidiaries to schedule and oversee all aspects of the messaging from US cities, including contracts, invoices, and other documents (as the case may be).
- Administrative support of the global messaging program.
- Bachelor’s degree desired, but not required.
- Ability to work in fast-paced and demanding environment.
- Strong communicator with excellent multi-tasking skills.
- Problem solver who leans toward how to make a “no” into a “yes”.
- Superior written and verbal skills required.
- Ability to work independently.
- Detail oriented.
- Possess strong organizational skills.
- Computer literate with Microsoft Office Suite software.
- Previous office experience desired but not required.
