Data Entry Specialist
JCG Land Services is looking to hire a Data Entry Specialist to join their team. JCG is an Iowa-based Real Estate and Right of Way firm where their primary role is to bridge the gap between engineering and private property owners by acquiring property rights for the buildout of infrastructure projects.
This position will be based out of JCG's Cedar Rapids office and will provide clerical support for JCG and its clients. Responsibilities include entering reliable information in a timely manner into database software, billing support, ordering office supplies, and other administrative tasks as needed.
The successful candidate will have a professional and positive attitude; strong attention to detail; excellent verbal and written communication skills; and the flexibility to work both with a team or independently.
Summary of Duties:
- Entering names, addresses, and other data into a JCG or client-specific database with a high level of quality control and with minimal error
- Completing a specified number of entries each week as determined by the client
- Proofreading entries to ensure a high level of accuracy
- Working directly with the client to determine tasks and receive the files to be entered into database
- Scanning and reviewing data from paper files to organize and manage the information
- Professionally corresponding with clients through email, phone, and video conferencing
- Handling sensitive client information while maintaining confidentiality
Qualifications:
Required:
- High School Diploma
Preferred:
- Associates Degree
- Experience providing administrative support in an office
Salary Range: $17.75-$22.75 per hour, commensurate with qualifications and experience
