Service Manager Job Description
The company has a flat organizational structure and requires the Service Manager to play a critical role in the success of the business. A positive attitude is an essential element for success in this position. Our business is constantly changing and the Service Manager must be adaptable and flexible.
Goals:
The Service Manager position has three measurable and attainable goals; customer satisfaction/retention, business growth and employee retention/management.
Roles and Responsibilities:
The Service Manager will work with the business owners to define the day-to-day roles and responsibilities of the position.
Communications - Good communication skills are an essential attribute for this position. Daily communications in regard to the status of jobs, employee feedback, areas of concern at customer locations, company equipment and supply management are critical.
The high-level responsibilities of the Service Manager position will cover the following areas:
- Cleaning: carpet cleaning, window cleaning, pressure washing and general cleaning
- Employee management: assistance with staffing, back-filling absent employees, managing employee disputes and other general issues that may arise with employees
- Customer relations: retention and growth activities
- Supplies management
The Service Manager is an hourly position.
Compensation:
The Service Manager position has a starting salary of $24.00 per hour with weekly opportunity for overtime. After one year you will receive one week of paid vacation. Position includes paid company holidays.
Company Tools:
A company vehicle will be provided to the Service Manager. The company will provide insurance, gas, and overall maintenance on the company vehicle. The company vehicle is for official business use only.
