The role of Internal Sales Representative is responsible for performing outbound business development, calling to secure new buyer and seller opportunities, calling competitive buyers and sellers and other outbound campaigns as assigned.
The ideal candidate must demonstrate strong sales results, sales accomplishments, business acumen and excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Additionally, this position requires a high degree of customer interaction and communication to ensure the customer experience is positive and professional.
Responsibilities:
Communicate effectively with customers and prospects according to their preferred method of communication (phone, email, chat or in-person)
Maintain intermediate knowledge of the Auction process through ongoing training
Keep upcoming auction schedule top of mind and be prepared to direct customers and prospects
Qualify and distribute leads and maintain accountability, following-up with prospects throughout the Auction process
Maintain accurate prospect/customer database (CRM) to capture repeat business
Assist scheduling appointments with interested buyers and sellers and equipment delivery with appropriate sales representatives
ISR will have a goal of connecting with a minimum number of calls per day
Review sales with Jeff Martin Auctioneers management on a weekly basis
Requirements:
Fluent in English
Excellent customer relationship skills
Very strong sales and communication skills
Excellent follow through, follow up, and accountability
Advanced technology proficiency with common programs and web-based applications
Organizational skills
Ability to analyze and interpret data and analytics
Ideal Candidates (Preferred but not required):
College Education Preferred, but not required with relevant experience.
Knowledge of heavy equipment or operational practices
