Summary
The Director of Contract Manufacturing will be responsible for developing and managing the contract manufacturing projects globally for JBCC.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Responsible for supporting the company’s short and long-term goals for maintaining compliance with respect to Contract Manufacturing and associated Quality Agreements and applicable Regulations and Guidance Documents.
Ensure adequate capacity for all supports to meet our 5 year operating plan.
Bring vision and adherence to the sourcing strategy process while clearly defining criteria to bring new suppliers (and further develop existing suppliers) into the manufacturing network, ensuring the right capacity and capabilities to support the business.
This position will have the opportunity to: Collect and analyze data, make connections with management, as well as work with all the departments to understand the business priorities, capacity and capabilities requirements for the Operations.
Help operations with preparation of strategy presentations, assist with standardizing reports and creating templates, creating best practices from one site to the rest. Find better, cost effective solutions collectively. Develop business cases for strategic capital investments.
Ensure JBCC factories are meeting service, cost, quality, sustainability and innovation needs.
Create sourcing strategies for contract manufacturers.
Develop and implement annual Operating Plan requirements.
Develop formal quarterly supplier relationship management for all primary suppliers.
Execute and maintain supply agreements
Develop and own price lists for each supplier and ensure accuracy for Supply Chain and Finance.
Supervisory Responsibilities

Education and/or Experience
Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university; 10 progressive experience in sales & manufacturing in a food environment, and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
High level capabilities/experience in negotiations, contracts and agreements.
Wide range knowledge of food contract manufacturers and demonstrated ability to build strategic partnerships.
Background in Planning, Logistics and Customer Service a plus.
Ability to step away from the details and share the big picture impact to Executive team.
Language Skills
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
Mathematical Skills
Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.
Reasoning Ability
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
Travel
Mild to Moderate Travel may be required and will include sales meetings, shows, headquarters, manufacturing facilities and customer visits.
Computer Skills
To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of MS Office products, including Word, Excel and Outlook, plus Inventory software and Manufacturing software.
