Job Summary
The Warranty Posting Clerk is responsible for the submissions, cancellations, and reconciliations of Warranty and Insurance products sold. He/She performs any combination of routine calculating, posting, and verifying duties to maintain accurate records. He/she may also check the accuracy of figures, calculations, and postings recorded by other workers. Other office duties include but are not limited to sorting, filing, copying, handling telephone queries, and other duties as may be assigned including to fill-in for receptionist/cashier when needed.
The ideal candidate will have posting clerk experience with ADP or other dealership software experience, 2-years previous experience in an automotive dealership and an AA degree or other related education.

Duties and Responsibilities:

- Review files, records, and other documents to obtain information to respond to requests.
- Operate office machines, such as photocopiers and scanners, facsimile machines, voice mail systems, and personal computers.
- Answer telephones, direct calls, and take messages.
- Maintain and update filing, inventory, mailing, and database systems, either manually or using a computer.
- Compile, copy, sort, and file records of office activities, business transactions, and other activities.
- Compute, record, and proofread data and other information, such as records or reports.
- Communicate with customers, employees, and other individuals to answer questions, disseminate or explain information, take orders, and address complaints.
- Adhere to all company policies, procedures and safety standards
- Perform other duties as assigned
