JOB SUMMARY:
This position will assist with the operations of the Construction Management Departments within the branch. The Project Management Assistant (PMA) reports directly to the Branch Manager and works under the direction of the Restoration Project Managers, Large Loss Restoration Project Managers, and other managers as needed.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Duties will include, but are not limited to:
- Collections: The PMA may be asked to go get checks endorsed.
- Sketching: The PMA will sometimes be asked to sketch missing items from a floor plan.
- Inspections: Management will need the PMA to wait for jobs to be inspected occasionally.
- Permits: The PMA will occasionally need to go to the permit office to obtain a permit for a job.
- Punch out: The PMA will complete small punch lists on jobs.
- Photos: The PMA will visit sites and take additional photos.
- Material delivery: If a sample or material needs to be delivered the PM will request that the PMA to complete that run.
- Paperwork: If paper work needs to be completed in person, a PM can utilize the PMA.
- Demonstrates knowledge of and practices Jenkins Mission, Vision and Values
- Other tasks as assigned by supervisors
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:
This position has no supervisory responsibilities
EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:
Associates degree (A.A or A.S) or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school; One year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
LANGUAGE SKILLS:
Must possess the ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Demonstrate the ability to write routine reports, correspondence, and the ability to speak effectively to customers and/or employees of organization.
COMPUTER SKILLS:
To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Excel, database, Internet, spreadsheet, and word processing software.
