About the Position

A network administrator/IT coordinator is a critical part of our admin team, responsible for developing and maintaining the hardware, software, and servers for our team. The network administrator will interface with every member of the Jennings’ team to keep their technology working and secure. A successful network administrator will have a passion for the technical details of running IT systems as well as supporting others.

Minimum Requirements:

• US Citizen
• No clearance required

Chief Duties and/or Responsibilities:

• Delivery, setup, installation, troubleshooting, update, and repair of all hardware and software (workstations, printers, phone systems, etc.) for a team of ~50 people
• Work with our IT provider to maintain the network, servers, and VPN
• Provide IT support to all team members
• Communicate, discuss, and listen to challenges with management, teammates, etc.

Base Qualifications:

• Minimum 2 years of experience in IT
• Experience running networks and servers
• Familiarity with cybersecurity topics and practices
• Knowledge of network architecture and technology
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Unending patience with machines and the people who use them
• Computer (Windows PC) competency in MS Office and MS Excel

Additional Qualifications:

• 3 years of experience in IT
• Ability to run and terminate network cables
• Experience developing/upgrading networks
• Experience with VoIP system setup
• Can apply puns in most settings
• IT and cybersecurity related certifications

Hiring Requirements:

• This is a part-time position, requiring 30-40 hours per week during normal business hours.
• If an offer of employment is extended, a background check is required, and the offer of employment is contingent on the results.
