Position Summary
This is an administrative position, primarily responsible for supporting the sales operation once a project has been awarded to Jensen Precast; this includes the coordination, prioritization, the expediting of project deliverables as well as other administrative functions.
Principle Accountabilities
- Produce, review, and revise manhole submittal documents with the engineering and sales teams, and ultimately with customer representatives.
- Coordinate with internal and external engineering all new parts and pieces as well as follow through with any revisions to existing parts and pieces
- Coordinate with Planning the priority of any new parts and pieces and follow through to ensure completeness prior to entry into an order or project
- Read and understand construction documents, and agency specifications, and clearly communicate summary assessments clearly to Responsible Parties.
- Compile, present, maintain, and hand off job and project folders to Sales Coordinators that will include but are not limited to Complete submittal approvals, manhole approval and production drawings, project lien information, customer contact information, address, directions, and any pertinent notes and information to help steer a successful Jensen Precast Project.
Position Requirements
The ideal candidate will possess a demonstrated history of administrative support in an industrial environment. Experience in the manufacturing and/or construction industries is helpful. Other candidate attributes include but are not limited to:
- An aptitude to develop project knowledge.
- Ability to comprehend construction documents, including job specifications.
- Solid skills with Microsoft Office Products.
- Aptitude for learning Auto-CAD and other necessary Jensen Precast platforms.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to draft professional-level correspondence.
- Valid driver’s license.
Salary : $20 - $24
