ESSENTIAL TASKS
Customer Service
•    Working with these systems provides the opportunity to assist all administrative offices on campus including Academic Affairs, Admissions & Enrollment, Finance & Business Office, Financial Aid, Human Resources, Institutional Advancement, Student Affairs, and Registrar.
•    Identify and prioritize requests for support, enhancements and customizations to the ERP system and processes.
•    Manage (create and maintain) internal college knowledge repository related to information systems and processes and encourage end users to do the same.
Systems Analyst
•    J1 application and related system support for all administrative departments.
•    Assess the use of information systems in line with their intended outcomes, and serves as a liaison between end users, vendors, and programmers to achieve outcomes.  
•    User account management: creation, permissions management, and removal.
•    Duplicate ID numbers - Detect, track, evaluate and Merge/Inactivate.
•    Identity and Access Management Solution – Assist the computer center by maintaining the J1 side of the IAM solution.
•    System architect on small to medium sized projects.
•    Plans, coordinates, and implements security measures to safeguard computer databases and applications
Database Administrator
•    Database maintenance and data cleanup.
•    Addition of fields & tables as needed for existing or new processes.
•    Assist in disaster recovery and business continuity efforts.
•    Database server administration.
Programmer
•    Data Integrations: Develop, maintain, manage, and support ERP System Data Integrations.
•    Develop, support, and maintain software applications based on institutional and strategic priorities using web programming best practices. Work with module managers to determine required functionality and project specifications.  Responsible for the design, layout, coding, and testing of applications to meet the needs of functional users.
Institutional Reporting
•    Support Institutional Research and Institutional Reporting by designing, developing, and customizing SQL queries and reports.
•    Support Institutional Reporting environment – Infomaker, SQL Server Reporting Services, PowerBI, Aqua Data Studio, etc.
•    Extract, verify, and report data with a very high degree of accuracy.
PREFERRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
•    Strong relational database experience using Informix or MS SQL Server.  Experience with other RDMS’s (Oracle, DB2, MySQL, etc.) will also be considered.
•    Excellent problem determination and customer service skills.
•    A background in programming and system administration.
•    Bachelor’s degree in Computer Information Systems, Computer Science or similar degree in an equivalent program of study combined with relevant work experience
