Summary
Advanced Technology Systems Company in Gilbert, AZ is looking for experienced/senior level candidates for the position of Program Manager to join our team.
Essential Responsibilities
Advanced Technology Systems Company is looking for a Program Manager in Gilbert, Arizona. The successful candidate will be responsible to actively monitor, execute, and effect programmatic controls for programs. The Program Manager will work with Engineering, Production, Supply Chain, Finance, and suppliers and take direction from Program Director. This position requires strong independent problem-solving skills, team leadership, technical writing, and communication skills in support of an array of existing and future work for US Military.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, or related field
- Minimum of Seven (10) years of Program/Project Management experience.
- Four (4) additional years of related experience will substitute for bachelor’s degree.
- Experience providing all labor and services necessary to perform programmatic support in monitoring, assessing, coordinating, analyzing, and integrating component programs/activities, including briefings/presentations and agendas for the total life cycle of security systems programs/systems.
- Previous work with DOD large program of record systems, Prefer US Army Force Protection systems
- Previous customer interface with Government Engineering and PMO groups
- Shown experience leading a multi-discipline team throughout the development life cycle
- Experience managing suppliers and writing Statement of Work (SOWs)
- Write/lead trade studies, use cases, white papers, etc.
- Experience with Pursuits, Bids, Proposals, etc.
- Adept at using MS Project, Excel, Power Point and Word
- Success at setting and meeting cost and schedule objectives
- Must be a U.S. citizen with the ability to obtain and maintain a government Secret security clearance.
- PMP certification is Highly desired
Physical Demands & Work Environment
- Work is typically performed in an office setting
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, sit, demonstrate manual dexterity, climb stairs, talk, hear and see.
- Must have the ability to lift 15-25 pounds
- Must be able to read, write and speak English
- Some travel may be required for construction activities, customer visits and site surveys.
