As a Trainer in our FBO, you will be responsible for developing the capabilities of our new and existing employees. You will ensure that we have a team that can meet its current and future business objectives and our customers' needs by delivering quality services according to Jet Aviation’s safety standards.
Minimum Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED
- Line and Ramp services vocational training/ technical apprenticeship or equivalent work experience
- 2-4 years of experience in the field of Line & Ramp Services having full knowledge of all related processes and procedures including NFPA 407: Standard of Aircraft Fuel Servicing; ATA Specification 103: Standard for Jet Fuel Quality Control at Airports and Fuel Storage Area (SIDA) Regulations.
- Must be able to obtain a Certificate from NATA Line Service training program within 60 days of employment
- Ability to effectively present information, instruct, share knowledge, and respond to questions
- Possess valid driver’s license
- Ability to read and communicate in English
Main Responsibilities:
- Conduct theoretical and practical ground operations training targeting learning objectives and required job competencies
- Monitor employee development and training programs, assess needs and results, develop new and modify existing training programs to make sure that relevant, accurate and up-to-date information is presented
- Deliver training that is active, relevant and draws on the experiences of the training participants
- Determine training effectiveness by frequently checking student comprehension and understanding throughout the training period
- Post training follow-up using observations and interviews to verify that learning objectives were met and maintain records of trainees’ progress and achievements
- Other duties as assigned
- Represents Jet Aviation as one company internally and externally with industry groups, regulatory bodies, and the General Dynamics network

Work Environment

The employee must be able to work in both a heavy maintenance environment and in upscale customer areas. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate with occasional high volume when aircrafts arrive/depart. The employee is frequently exposed to vibration. Occasional fuel fumes may permeate the workplace. Employee must be willing and able to work in all types of weather conditions. The noise level in the work environment is usually loud. The Hangar environment may be extreme hot and cold during certain seasons of the year.
