Role: Field Marketing Activator
Markets: New Haven CT, Detroit/Ann Arbor MI, Boise ID, St. Louis MO, Albany NY, Portland OR, Salt Lake City UT,
Boston MA, Pittsburgh PA, Minneapolis MN
Responsibilities:
Oversee the Sunday Lawn Care Field Activation Program that will take place over various dates in your market this summer.
● Learn and demonstrate knowledge of the Sunday products and brand. Enthusiastically share this with customers / potential customers to build a lasting memory.
● Manage your own time to accomplish the goals of the program. Visit 2-4 Retail stores per day, 2-5 days per week, on a schedule that will be provided to you - Approximately 8 hours/day including drive time.
● Store visit responsibilities include:
- Education / Relationship building:
■ Talk with store associates and managers to educate them on the Sunday brand
■ Attending Monday manager meetings
■ Answer customer questions in aisle
- Merchandising:
■ Ensuring products are on shelves, organized, in the correct location, priced accurately■ Ensure displays / Pallets are on the floors, in good condition and in a good location■ Sell in incremental merchandising space such as end caps, half / quarter pallets
- Intel:
■ Gather customer insight on the products
- Events:
■ Host events throughout the week/weekend in their assigned marketers
■ We will provide the BA with supplies such as signage, brochures, samples, etc. to set them up for success
● Be our eyes and ears. Observe, note, and report on customer satisfaction and interactions, as well as operational learnings. Look for ways to improve. Be proactive in finding solutions.
● Managing all product coordination, supplies, inventory etc. for each market/each activation
● Communication with JetFuel team as necessary on a weekly/daily basis including a weekly team call
● Overall management of any other on-site questions, concerns etc. that arise o Please note, any issues will be directed to the JetFuel team
● Responsibility to follow policy guidelines and codes of conduct as a standard for representing the company not only to vendors and customers, but to the general public as well
● Manage expenses and submit receipts for any tour related purchases (with prior approval from Jet Fuel)
● NOTE: Payment is contingent on completion and submission of reports in a timely manner.
Qualifications:
● Sales and promo experience - this role will require selling Sunday Lawn Care products to both store managers and customers.
● Self-starter - able to define and work toward program goals, managing their own time and anticipate and solve problems.
● Retail experience is a plus.
● Lawn care experience is a plus.
Must Haves:
● Valid driver's license & working vehicle appropriate for the program
● A minimum of 3-5 years working on experiential programs
● A minimum of 1-2 years assistant managing tours
● Must be able to lift up to 50lbs
Compensation:
● $80 Paid training to cover zoom call and receiving shipment of supplies
● $320/day based on 4 store visit per day or pro-rated at $80 per store if less than 4 stores per day
● $20/day stipend to cover gas, tolls, and vehicle expenses
● $10/day stipend for personal cell phone usage
