What are the responsibilities and job description for the Employment Specialist Manager position at JEVS Human Services?

CareerLink is currently hiring a talented, supportive Manager for our Job Developer team to champion the vision of the "No Wrong Door" service design. You will provide leadership and support to staff and will be responsible for ensuring the team meets performance goals.

This role, located in our Suburban Station office, is an onsite role. This position is full-time, 35 hours per week.

As the Manager, you will be responsible for the following:

  • Providing leadership to the Job Developers.

  • Coordinating services regarding clients' job placement goals and job search activities; ensuring clients are in meaningful job and placement activities.

  • Compliance with program-specific regulations.

  • Reporting monthly sales data.

  • Preparing a database of leads, employers, jobs, and placements.


  • Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • 3 years' experience in sales, workforce development, placement, or job development.
  • Supervisory experience preferred.

The base pay for this position ranges from $51,000 to $61,000 and will vary based on factors such as skills and experience. Base pay is one part of the Total Compensation that JEVS Human Services provides to recognize employees for their work.
