SUMMARY:

This role is responsible for overseeing a team of Program Sales Managers.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Provide daily direction on work expectations to Program Sales Managers
  • Be the escalation point for complex Program Sales questions that require resolution
  • Responsible for the necessary training to onboard and continue to develop Program Sales Managers
  • Manage and exceed service expectations with inbound service calls
  • Manage and exceed outbound sales call expectations
  • Manage and improve effectiveness of jeweler and agency sales calls
  • Generate Program Sales metrics and provide results and analysis to Sr Mgr, Sales Distribution in order to inform business decisions
  • Maintain effective business relationships with agency business partners
  • Lead projects and initiatives internally that lead to process and sales efficiencies
  • Develop program sales involvement of JM Risk Services which may include direct jeweler sales leading to the progress of a future JMRS role
  • Travel to industry events as necessary(approximately 10%)

LEADERSHIP RESPONSIBILITIES

Carries out leadership responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Associates degree required, Bachelors degree preferred
  • Must have five years of related work experience
  • Previous sales management experience preferred
  • Must have experience with client interaction and relationship development
