Early Childhood Receptionist

Job Summary:  Basic purpose or primary function of the job.

• Screens and greets everyone at the entry to the ECC Department from 2 separate entrances.
• Answers the phones and directs calls or takes messages.
• Observes and is aware of activity that is visible on the security monitors.
• Assists Registrar with computer input and paperwork as needed (knowledge of Microsoft word, Microsoft Excel required Daxko recommended)

1. Provide excellent customer service to Early Childhood families.
2. Checks ID cards of EC Families or anyone who approaches EC Department.
3. Refers member’s questions to the Early Childhood Administration.
4. Additional responsibilities may be added periodically based upon the needs of the Early Childhood Department of the Katz JCC, i.e. distribution of materials to the teachers’ mailboxes.
5. It is essential that all staff participate in a variety of agency-wide activities.  Staff should be knowledgeable about our agency and be able to respond appropriately with accurate information.
6. Computer input into various platforms and Microsoft excel and Word.

Classroom support and coverage when needed.
