What are the responsibilities and job description for the Traveling (ICT) Foreman position at JKL Associates?
The Information and Communications Technology (ICT) Foreman is responsible for planning, implementing, and commissioning technology systems. This field working position would give onsite team members direction including but not limited to installing structured cabling, support infrastructure, terminating, installing equipment to specifications, and completing a functional system as portrayed in the job documents. This position would work directly with a Project Manager to oversee the daily operations on site while mitigating risk, improving customer relations and integrity of Push Technologies.

Physical and Environmental Factors:
- Ability to work both indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions.
- Ability to walk, sit, stand, bend, twist, stoop, push, pull, carry, and lift as needed.
- Ability to coordinate eyes, hands, feet, and limbs in performing skilled movement.
- Ability to travel up to 75% of time.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities (Essential Functions):
· Read and interpret plans, prints and specifications.
· Communicate with stakeholders in a professional manner.
· Manage resources and oversee staff.
- Capture data, report, and share information with leadership.
- Assist with systems implementation, commissioning, and testing.
- Certify and use industry standard test equipment.
- Drive company vehicles to work and display company professionalism.
- Represent PUSH Technologies in a positive and safe manner.
- Additional duties as assigned.
Education and/or Experience:
- Work Experience: Experience in commercial structured cabling and experience with industry related systems.
- Education: Existing BISCI certifications preferred or the ability to obtain in a timely manner. Cable and Systems certifications preferred or the ability to obtain in a timely manner. OSHA 10 certificate.
- Industry Knowledge: Knowledge of standard construction safety practices and BICSI, EIA, TIA, and NEC standards, networking using LAN/WAN, switch gear and routers.
Requirements:
- Valid driver’s license and ability to travel to various locations within and/or outside of the state.
- Must be able to pass pre-employment screenings.
- Ability to create documentation, reporting and communication using MS/Google platforms.
- Ability to use industry testing equipment effectively.
- Ability to prioritize and multitask.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and critical thinking skills.
- Ability to read and understand schematics and one-line diagrams.
- Ability to work independently without constant supervision.
- Willingness to learn.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to read, comprehend and carry out instructions.
- Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment.
