Job Description: As a Recruiting Screener, you will be responsible for managing the initial stages of our recruitment process. You will play a crucial role in identifying suitable candidates and evaluating their qualifications, experience, and overall fit for our organization. Your primary responsibilities will include:
- Candidate Sourcing: Collaborate with recruiters and hiring managers to understand the specific requirements for each position. Use various sourcing methods to identify potential candidates, including job boards, social media, and professional networks.
- Screening Candidates: Review resumes and applications to assess candidate qualifications and ensure alignment with job requirements. Conduct initial phone screens to evaluate candidates' communication skills, experience, and interest in the position.
- Maintaining Candidate Data: Maintain accurate and up-to-date candidate information in our applicant tracking system (ATS). Ensure all candidate records are complete and organized for future reference.
- Candidate Communication: Act as the initial point of contact for candidates, providing information about the company and position, setting up interviews, and delivering feedback after initial screening.
- Interview Coordination: Collaborate with the HR team to schedule interviews and coordinate the logistics of the interview process.
- Feedback and Evaluation: Provide feedback to candidates based on initial screenings and communicate your assessment to the recruiting team and hiring managers. Help make recommendations for candidates to move forward in the hiring process.
- Process Improvement: Continuously evaluate and suggest improvements to the recruiting and screening process, including streamlining procedures and enhancing candidate experience.
- Compliance: Ensure compliance with all relevant labor laws, regulations, and company policies during the screening process.
Qualifications: To be successful in this role, you should possess the following qualifications:
- Previous experience in a screening or HR-related role is preferred but not required.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Good organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Familiarity with applicant tracking systems (ATS) is a plus.
- A genuine interest in people and the ability to assess candidate potential beyond their qualifications.
