What this job involves -
Maintain, repair, and provide emergency support on Batteries, Chargers, Inverters, Static Switches, and Maintenance Bypass Switches for commercial systems at customer sites.
Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain small to large Uninterruptible Power Systems. Perform Preventive maintenance and start-ups
What is your day to day?
Responsible for providing installation, maintenance and repair support
Involved in scheduled installation /maintenance for AC / DC Power Systems Hardware, Nicad / Sealed Lead Battery Maintenance, UPS Installation/ maintenance and Battery Monitoring System
Experience in 1 & 3 phase UPS (Uninterruptible Power Supplies), batteries, Automatic Transfer Switch, PDU and bypass panel installation
Provide site survey, installation and commissioning and testing of system
On-site troubleshooting & help desk support
Perform inspections on client's equipment
Provide general maintenance on the electrical aspects of the job
Desired experience and technical skills
Required:
Candidate must possess and maintain a valid state driver's license.
High school diploma or GED equivalent
Must pass background, drug/alcohol, and MVR screening process.
3-5 years experience with electrical, preferably UPS experience
Preferred:
Completion of an applicable technical training program is desirable, have a minimum of one (1) year of applicable working experience in general building repair and maintenance, and electrical.
Successful candidate must be a self-motivated individual who can work independently or in a team environment.
