The role of the JLL Program Manager, Janitorial Services is to ensure the proper operation and performance of all aspects of a comprehensive sanitation program in both a manufacturing and administrative environment to validate the supervisors and all hourly staff is performing their assigned tasks to standards. - Review all previous End of Shift (EOS) reports and annotate any items that carryover multiple shifts. Verify the issue and develop a plan of action to reduce reoccurring concerns.
- Validate trend analysis of hot spot areas throughout the plant and paint shops.
- Closes the loop with the JLL leadership and area ME to ensure a process is implemented to improve hot spot areas and response times.
- Continuously monitors processes implemented to decrease hot spot areas or complaints.
- Review beginning of shift report, discuss issues / concerns / or gap in covers with floor supervisors.
- Ensure issues and concerns are addressed, and validate that gaps are covered.
- Review weekly custodial head count numbers verses hours that are submitted from janitorial vendor.
- Assess for accuracy, analysis OT trends, or elevated head count outside of required to operate (RTO) numbers.
- Validate and analysis any trends that may be of concerns with custodial headcount and hours submitted.
- Review absentee / PTO submission from hourly employees.
- Review and ensure all routes meet plant requirements.
- Understand and become a subject matter expert (SME) with janitorial CBA.
- Manage the mobile equipment program for KTP:
- Validates all equipment is signed out and both pre / post ops were completed.
- Submits equipment workorders as need to required vendor.
- Create and track equipment PO’s
- Manage mobile equipment budget and ensure JLL stays within annual budget requirements.
- Follows up and close the loop on equipment WO’s.
- Track required preventive maintenance (PM) program for all mobile equipment.
- Ensure each area submits a weekly compression plan.
- Review weekend work planning and coverage with floor supervisors and Ford ME’s.
- Track all JLL supervisor overtime (OT), PTO, and call-ins.
- Understand JLL policies and procedures.
- Understands janitorial vendor policies and procedures.
- Understands UAW policies and procedures.
- Understands the Lock-Out safety process.
- Spot checks all lock-out procedures.
- Ensure the supervisors are trained to JLL standards.
- Build a rapport with area ME’s and POC’s.
- Audits routes and restrooms throughout the facility.
- Manages the janitorial supply process ad budget.
- Validates that the supervisor is managing the floor and ensures all employees are cleaning to the published TIS standards and working the routes they are assigned.
- Validates break and lunch schedules to reduce lack of cleaning support.
- Coaching and developing supervisors assigned to their area.
- Validating weekly schedules and tasks are completed in a timely manner.
- Inspection of cleaning equipment on a regular basis to validate equipment readiness and request for maintenance support as needed.
- Controlling and monitoring the usage of cleaning materials to avoid or minimize waste and/or misuse.
- Providing any form of required assistance to cleaners while they carry out their duties.
