What are the responsibilities and job description for the Receptionist position at JLL?

Job Summary
A Concierge is both: Personalized, creating solutions for individual requests and a Brander of the corporation you are representing. Welcoming guests to the Corporation and assisting them. As a Concierge you are the most important person in the company and the first impression of your company. You must have the ability to creatively think on one's feet, networking with local vendors for rides to hotels, airports, tickets, dry cleaning, car repair/detailing and any other special needs the guest/customer may need assistance with. Representation of quality service must be presented at the front door. The traits of a successful Concierge include enthusiasm, a personal drive to please, flexibility and accommodating nature. You will need to be knowledgeable about the venue where you work and the surrounding area. Knowing what the facility and surrounding area can offer to your customers in any number of special circumstances and be able to make recommendations based on individual needs. As a Concierge, you will be the Liaison for the quality of service your corporation represents.

Front Lobby liaison (Meet, Greet and Sign in) with a quality service the company represents
Ability to focus on all incoming Guest's, Visitors and Employee's with an outstanding professional, interpersonal and hospitable greeting.
Guests/customers should be greeted while standing, offering accommodating and quality service. You are the reflection of the Corporation you are representing.
Quality of service and hospitality is a must have at all times.
Offer hospitality by letting the visitor/guest know the services you can assist with during their visit with the Corporation. Example: Restroom, beverage, reservations, directions, maps, golf courses, tee times. Whatever is necessary to make each person feel they have been treated with the most professional, warm and courteous welcome.
While welcoming your visitor, sign them into the registration book with the submission of a Photo id, Passport or Drivers license. Make a visitor badge and offer to take coat or jacket and place in coat closet. Again, offer customer focus and the services that you are available for to make their time spent at the Corporation a quality, lasting, and memorable experience.
Maintain and update the Merchant/Vendor discounts on the Facilities Page of the Corporations portal. Maintain an up to date building events weekly news letter.40% - 60%
Event Planning
Ability to organize market and lead activities or events. Coordinate events for collaboration (Example: Dinner events, Bus trips to ball games, amusement parks, etc). 20% - 40%

Team Oriented:
Good Negotiation ability:
Must be very team oriented and work closely with other concierges in continual negotiations with merchants, vendors, local businesses and businesses on discounts that can be offered to the Corporations working population and customers. (Example: Discount sports tickets, discount movie tickets, specials on dry cleaning and car detailing, golfing etc.). 20% - 40%
Organizational Skills:
Maintain and update calendar of events and welcome board for current up to date events that are taking place. (Example: tee times, golf special's, current movies, plays at theaters.)
Be familiar with all conference rooms. Provide an up to date schedule of conference rooms and reserved room information, along with availability.
Maintain and update Concierge playbook for your building. Work with other concierge's, to assure all play books and concierge standard of service are symmetrical.
Assure the common area immediately outside the front door and the areas around the reception area are well maintained and ready for guests.
Assure all conference rooms in the immediate area are clean organized and ready for use.
Performs additional responsibilities as requested.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
MINIMUM REQUIRED
PREFERRED
Education/training
Associates degree or 1-3 years quality customer service or related training or equivalent combination of both.
Bilingual a plus
Years of relevant experience

Skills and knowledge
Working knowledge of Computer applications: Microsoft Office: (Word, Excel, And Power Point). Google: (G- Mail, Calendaring, Docs, Sheets, and Slides).
Knowledge of Corporate Branding and Global Cultures.
Other abilities
Posses' excellent interpersonal skills, project a professional appearance, outgoing an energetic personality.
Strong belief in customer service and professionalism. Strong sense of team -What you can bring to it, and what you need from it.
Self -motivated, Self-starter. High energy individual that likes challenges and thrives in a fast-paced environment.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Familiar with all area activities, attractions, and restaurants.
Ability to anticipate, identify, and own problems, following up with the best possible solution for the employee or guest.
Ability to meet and work well with all levels of employees and guest's. Ability to multi tasks, remaining calm professional and pleasant even during stressful situations.
Ability to work closely with team members and independently.
Ability to screen and interpret visitors' needs.

Physical work requirements and work conditions
Professional work environment may require walking long distances through buildings for tours.
