Our client based out of Bedford, MA is looking to bring on a temporary to hire Deficient Chart Specialist as soon as possible. This will be a Monday through Friday traditional office hours position that has the chance to start in the next few days after a brief interview process. The client is looking for a detail oriented multitasker who is able to handle multiple projects going on at one time. The ideal candidate will come with a few years of medical terminology or health insurance related experience.
The main job responsibilities will include the following:
- searching medical records online for certain information
- assigning cases to medical coders
- preparing and checking medical charts
- helping to resolve customer issues
- Taking care of assigned project work on an as needed basis
