- Ensure that actions taken in dealing with students fully conform to established standards.
- Oversee dorm management and to maximize the benefits of the residential living situation for students.
- Motivate students and gain their acceptance of and adherence to residential living goals; and an understanding of social behavior and motivation to effectively provide guidance required.
- Provide individual guidance to students.
- Recognize potentially adverse or sensitive situations that may require special or professional handling to refer to the appropriate person.
- Meet and Deal with a variety of people, including local authorities, students' families, and off-Center visitors to clarify, obtain, and provide information in handling student activities and problems.
- Utilize various Job Corps related databases and software in order to perform and process work assignments.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
NOTE:
This position is required to work swing shift and night shift when determined by the needs of the Center. There is no day shift available.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $33,693.00 - $49,009.00 per year
