Job Impulse, Inc. has an immediate opening for a Machine Operator in Auburn Hills, MI.

Overview

We are seeking a skilled Building Maintenance professional to join our team at our facility located in Rochester, MI. As a Maintenance Technician worker, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the cleanliness, safety, and functionality of our building. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working with their hands and takes pride in maintaining a well-kept environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine inspections and maintenance tasks to ensure the building is in good condition
• Repair and troubleshoot electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems as needed
• Handle minor carpentry work, such as repairing doors, windows, and furniture
• Respond to maintenance requests from staff and tenants in a timely manner
• Keep accurate records of maintenance activities and report any major issues to the supervisor
• Ensure the building's exterior is well-maintained, including landscaping, parking lots, and sidewalks
• Monitor and maintain inventory of maintenance supplies and equipment
• Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area
  
  

Qualifications

• Prior experience in building maintenance or a related field is preferred
• Strong knowledge of electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems
• Basic carpentry skills and familiarity with common tools
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks efficiently
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy objects
• Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work
• Driver's License is preferred
  
  

Must:

• Be able to lift 5lb - to 25lbs consistently
• Be authorized to work in the US
• Be 18 years or older
