The Position:
An automotive supplier in Portage, MI is looking for CELL TECHNICIAN!
This position commonly works 5 or sometimes 6 days per week.
WAGE:
Process Tech: 18.50 - $26.50/hr based on wage and shift and Skillset.
STRONG PTO and Holiday provisions
Hourly OT
1.5x 40-51 hours
2x for 52 hours
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:
Changeover and processing of Injection molding machines
Change injection molds in 500 to 1500 Ton injection molding machines
Adjust process for common defects
Program pick and place robots to remove parts from machines
Document process set-up parameters
Systematic Problem Solving and Troubleshooting
Investigate and resolve machine and robot issues
Investigate and resolve product quality issues
Performance and Accountability
Perform changeover within a specified time
Maintain good housekeeping in line with our 5S principles
Clean molds and repair tooling as necessary
Ensure product conformity to quality standards upon start up
Education:
High School diploma or equivalent preferably with vocational education training in skilled trades or other related discipline and 2-4 years of experience working with machine set-up and processing.
Required Skills:
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office software.
Must have the ability to conduct root cause analysis and present alternative solutions and make repairs and/or adjustments to correct problems.
Ability to make informed decisions to satisfy internal and external customers.
Conducting (drug screening and/or background check) report inquiries will be necessary for employment purposes.
