Our organization is in search of a dynamic, experienced, and highly skilled HR Generalist to join our team in the Engineering industry.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing a wide range of human resources functions including but not limited to, employment law, training events, compensation, discipline, occupational health programs, handling sensitive matters, Employee Relations, and workday HCM.
This role requires a minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role.
Responsibilities :
1. Implement and manage an effective legal compliance program. You will be expected to have a deep understanding of employment law and ensure that our organization adheres to all legal standards and in-house policies.
2. Develop, coordinate, and execute training events for all employees. You will be expected to identify training needs and create educational materials that enhance employee skills and performance.
3. Manage and oversee the compensation program. You will be responsible for analyzing compensation policies, government regulations, and prevailing wage rates to develop competitive compensation plan.
4. Implement disciplinary measures as needed and handle sensitive matters with confidentiality and professionalism.
5. Develop and administer occupational health programs aimed at promoting a safe and healthy work environment.
6. Handle all aspects of Employee Relations, including conflict resolution, disciplinary action, and employee engagement.
7. Utilize Workday HCM to manage various HR processes and provide accurate and timely reports.
Qualifications :
1. Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field. A Master's degree or HR certification will be considered an advantage.
2. A minimum of 5 years of experience as an HR Generalist, preferably in the Engineering industry.
3. Extensive knowledge of employment law and HR best practices.
4. Proven experience in conducting training events and managing compensation programs.
5. Strong experience in handling sensitive matters and implementing disciplinary measures.
6. Experience with occupational health programs and Employee Relations.
7. Proficiency in using Workday HCM or similar HR software.
8. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with an ability to handle sensitive matters with discretion and professionalism.
9. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
10. Proactive, independent, and able to identify and implement improvements to HR processes.
