Credit Specialist

As Credit Specialist, you will:

  • Receive a portfolio of B2B Accounts
  • Ensure customer accounts remain up to date
  • Communicate with accounts by phone and email
  • Establish and monitor credit limits
  • Release orders and establish credit holds as necessary
  • Reach out to customers with past due and/or delinquent accounts
  • Work with customers to bring their accounts up to date
  • Negotiate mutually agreeable payment terms
  • Review and process account adjustments, write offs and credit memos
  • Research and resolve account discrepancies
  • Provide supporting documents to customers upon request
  • Perform audits and account reconciliations
  • Maintain and update customer account records
  • Perform routine and special analysis
  • Produce routine and special reports
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to achieve business objectives
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Up to $24.00 per hour to start plus great company-sponsored benefits

An ideal candidate profile will include:

  • At least 2 years of Accounts Receivable, Credit and/or Collections experience
  • Experience with reconciliations, deductions and chargebacks
  • Intermediate to advanced proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
  • Accurate data entry skills

Pluses:

  • An Associate's or Bachelor's Degree, especially in Accounting, Finance, Business or similar
  • Related experience from a manufacturer or distributor of products

COVID-19 considerations:
You will train partially in the office – where enhanced health safety measures are in place - and partially from home. Once trained, you will work from home for the foreseeable future until all teams are asked to return to the office at a time TBD.
