Warehouse - Shipping Manager
Second Shift: 3PM to 11:30PM (M-F)
As Warehouse Shipping Manager, you will:
- Ensure the on-time delivery of customer orders
- Administer the Warehouse Management System (WMS)
- Monitor and track open orders
- Allocate labor according to business needs
- Provide oversight, guidance and direction to team members
- Oversee picking, packing and shipping teams
- Operate an order picker, reach truck and electric jack
- Assist with hiring, disciplinary actions, terminations and other personnel matters
- Serve as a resource for customers and internal teams
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues as they arise
- Contribute to continuous improvement efforts
- Seek out cost savings and efficiencies wherever possible
- Uphold safety, quality and compliance initiatives
- Produce routine and special reports
Up to $65,000 to start plus excellent company-sponsored benefits
An ideal candidate profile will include:
- At least 5 years of Warehouse, Operations, Distribution, Supply Chain, Logistics or similar/related experience
- At least 3 years of related management, supervisory and/or team lead experience
With:
- ERP System experience / proficiency
- WMS System experience / proficiency
Pluses:
- A Bachelor's Degree
- Proficiency with EITHER JDE or Warehouse Boss
