Job Details
Responsibilities:
- Operate a variety of machines including manual machines, vertical mills, horizontal mills, grinders, HBM, and VTL.
- Ensure all parts meet tight tolerance requirements through meticulous workmanship.
- Interpret and follow complex blueprints and schematics to produce parts accurately.
- Conduct regular maintenance and troubleshooting of machines to ensure optimal performance.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures while operating machinery.
- Collaborate with the team to improve processes and increase efficiency.
- Document and report any issues or discrepancies during the machining process.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace to ensure a safe and efficient work environment.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Machinist
- Proficient in operating manual machines, vertical mills, horizontal mills, grinders, HBM, and VTL.
- Exceptional understanding of blueprints and technical drawings.
- Proven ability to work with tight tolerances.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot mechanical issues effectively.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- High level of attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
- A strong understanding of safety protocols and procedures in a machining environment.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; certification or degree in a related field is a plus.
